Morning Cleaner

Salary: Grade 1, Point 1, £18,333 pro rata, £10.04 per hour (estimate), pending salary increase to be confirmed.

Hours: 12.5 hours per week, 6.00 – 8.30am, Mon - Fri

Start: As soon as possible, following satisfactory employment checks

We are seeking to appoint an additional cleaner to join the existing team.  Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with three other primary schools (all based in the North-West). The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives In Collaboration: 'Together We Make The Difference'.

The term-time hours are 6.00 – 8.30am working with the team to prepare the school for opening. Outside term times there is some flexibility with the hours.

Requirements of the role are:

  • to be flexible in response to the needs of the school
  • to be organised, self-motivated and reliable
  • to remove refuse and clean classrooms and communal areas
  • to assist in the organisation and completion of major periodic cleaning
  • to assist in the care of furniture, resources and equipment
  • to have an awareness of Health and Safety issues
  • to participate in training as required.

SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Level 2

Salary: TA Level 2, Grade 3, Point 4-6, £19,264- £20,043 (pro rata) 25 hours.  

Hours: 25 hours, Monday to Friday, term time only 

Start: To start as soon as available. Fixed Term linked to the child.

We are looking to appoint an energetic and engaging teaching assistant to work alongside a child with special educational needs at Chorlton park Primary School. 

Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with three other primary schools (all based in the North-West). The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives In Collaboration: 'Together We Make The Difference'.

We are looking for a TA who:

  • Is passionate about teaching and learning and believes in developing the true potential of all of our children
  • Can work with small groups of children under the supervision of the teacher including the implementation of Individual Education Plans
  • Can demonstrate good understanding of meeting the needs of children with SEN
  • Can nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils
  • Has a working knowledge of how children develop and can provide modelling and scaffolding to support the child’s interactions and learning
  • Has good behaviour management skills and can implement clear boundaries and routines
  • Can develop good home/school links. 

We require candidates with a minimum of Level 2 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Reception and Key Stage 1

Salary: TA level 3, Grade 4 (Point 7 – 11), £20,444 - £22,129 (pro rata)

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only. Fixed term to 31 Aug 2023

Start: To start as soon as available

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant committed and passionate about Early Years provision and is able to provide high quality support.   Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with three other primary schools (all based in the North-West). The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives In Collaboration: 'Together We Make The Difference'.

We are looking for a TA who:

  • can deliver high quality teaching and learning
  • has a good understanding of synthetic phonics
  • has had experience teaching Little Wandle or Read, Write Inc.
  • is committed to high standards and able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
  • can deliver specific support to raise the attainment of under-performing children and groups
  • can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
  • is able to work effectively as part of a team
  • has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.

We require candidates with a minimum of Level 3 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification.
