Uniform

“We believe that the wearing of a school uniform enables students to identify with their school, gives a sense of belonging, is practical and smart, reinforces a positive work ethos and reduces expenditure for parents/carers”

Our school has a duty to make sure that the uniform we require is affordable, in line with statutory guidance from the Department for Education.

We understand that items with distinctive school branded characteristics (such as those that include a school logo or a unique fabric/colour/design) cannot be purchased from a wide range of retailers and that requiring such items limits parents’ ability to ‘shop around’ for a low price.

We will make sure our uniform:

  • Only has a small number of branded items
  • Is available at a reasonable cost
  • Provides the best value for money for parents/carers
  • Offers second hand 'nearly new' options

Please find details of our uniform requirements' on the document which can be downloaded below.

Some items of uniform can be bought with the Chorlton Park Primary School logo on, whilst other plain items are easily available, at very competitive prices, at local shops including supermarkets.   Please find details of suggested school uniform and suppliers on the 'Uniform Requirements' document which can be downloaded below.

We also have a selection of 'Pre loved' uniform available in the office.
