Hazel Remeika (Chair of Governors)
Co-opted Governor 
Term of Office end: 6/10/2026

Hazel is currently a Business Partner for the Co-op Group where she has worked for the last 15 years in a variety of community and membership roles.  Her experience includes working with schools and community groups as well as project and event management.  Hazel has been a governor at Chorlton Park for the last 4 years originally a parent governor, now a co-opted governor and has previously been a governor a South Manchester high school.

Cllr Joanna Midgley 
Co-opted Governor 
Term of Office end: 03/10/2028

Joanna is a councillor in Chorlton Park ward and deputy leader of the council with a portfolio that covers a number of areas including homelessness, the voluntary sector and anti-poverty work. She was a teacher in a sixth form college for over 20 years. Joanna is actively involved with many community and residents groups in Chorlton Park ward and is currently a trustee of a local foodbank and Chair of a VCSE organisation.

Joanna's children both attended Chorlton Park school and she has been a community governor since 2016 and is the link governor for Safeguarding.

Dayna Shoemaker 
Co-opted Governor
Term of Olffice end: 29/09/2025

Dayna moved to the north west in 2014 from Scotland, but is originally from California. She is a product marketer for a data analytics tech company.

Her husband is a secondary science teacher, and together they share a passion for education and creating healthy learning environments for students and staff alike. Dayna has a MA (hons) from the University of St Andrews and a MSc from the University of Manchester.

Dayna is an Enterprise Advisor at a local high school and likes to spend her free time cooking, doing puzzles, cycling, and spending time with her husband, two cats and dog. 

Katherine Moulder 
Co-opted Governor
Term of Office end: 9/12/27

Katherine is aco-opted governor with a child in Year 4 and in Year 6.   She is currently the link governor for Maths and is also a co-opted member of the Trust’s Finance and Resources Committee.

Katherine is a qualified management account with experience in commercial and not for profit sectors, including six years as Director of Finance and Operations for a multi-academy trust which expanded from a single school to five schools during her time in post.  The role included oversight of all non-teaching elements of the school including finance, HR, catering and facilities.  Katherine currently works as Head of Finance at a charity that refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

Pamela McBride

Pam has worked at Chorlton Park since 2012.  She has taught across KS2 and is currently in Year 5.  She is the behaviour lead and well-being link governor.

Liv is a Year 1 teacher who trained at Chorlton Park.  She has been a Staff Governor since 2021.

We are recruiting for Trustees and Governors


We are currently recruiting for Trustees to join the CLIC Trust's Board of Trustees this academic year and we are interested in people who have skills in HR, Law, Education and Marketing/Media/PR. 

We also currently looking for Governors for Chorlton Park to join the Local Governing Committee.
